Our Wish Local, Store Ambassadors are the bridge between digital e-commerce and their local communities. Tasked with approaching and signing up stores in their communities, the Ambassadors help small business owners realize the Wish Local value proposition which aims to increase their new customer foot traffic and provide them with increased revenue by housing and distributing Wish products.
Using their understanding of both local norms & our e-commerce platform, Ambassadors also provide support when necessary by answering questions and providing advice to store owners. Although this is a great opportunity to be an early member of a high-performing sales team at a hyper-growth technology company, this is also an opportunity to leverage local relationships and drive investment into small businesses in your community. To be successful in this role, candidates must have excellent communication skills (multilingual a plus), technical curiosity, passion for sales and a strong desire to partner with small businesses, driving investment into their communities.
What You'll Do:Influence the go to market strategy in your region by understanding community shopping and traffic patterns along with the local merchant landscapeGrow the number of stores participating in the Wish Local program by direct approach via email, phone call and personal visitEngage with trade unions or social media groups that house stores with desired profile in order to expand the visibility of Wish Local within your regionWork closely with Wish Local team to address various local issues including documentation requirements, logistics issues, customer satisfaction, etc...Support stores once they are approved into the program from the point of activation through full operation, including fielding questions, concerns, comments, etcMaintain relationships with active stores by visiting them in person ensuring their confidence in the Wish Local support model.
