THE ROLE:  

  • The Regional Business Manager (RBM) manages an assigned group of multi-site operators in a defined geography defined and allocated based on regional location and crossing both retail and route to market customers
  • The RBM is a pivotal role within the UK sales team with responsibility for developing and growing JUUL’s new product listings, distribution, rate of sale and retailer share of mind/voice through seamless execution of customer account plans 
  • RBM is responsible for ensuring a suitable AV process is deployed through all responsible account bases.
  • Performance in this role will be measured primarily by achievement of product listings, volume and sales growth, implementation and execution of training, trade programmes and in-store visual merchandising 
  • This role is ideal for someone currently working in Field Sales in FMCG categories looking for their first key account role 
  • This role reports to the UK Channel Head 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Contract negotiations, relationship, execution and KPI’s for assigned accounts. This will be supported by Channel Head
  • Management of the Account and Business Planning process ensuring business objectives are jointly owned and exceeded 
  • Develop strong relationships amongst a range of departments within your customers business, and facilitate the building and growing of strong relationships between the customers and the JUUL team 
  • Manage account budgets ensuring spend in line with agreed objectives and contractual obligations 
  • Forecasting accurately using data analysis to identify risks and opportunities 
  • Maintain and agree contractual obligations, and ensure the highest levels of customer services 
  • Manage and measure AV process and ensure full compliance to JUUL requirements 

YOUR PROFILE:  

Skills 

  • Experience and knowledge of the FMCG retail environment 
  • Experience and ability to manage a large group of stores across a geographic area 
  • Persuasive and adaptable presenter - ability to positively influence different stores and staff 

Key Attributes Necessary for Success 

  • Strong resilience and desire to drive continuous improvements and operate in a changing environment 
  • Ability to build and develop collaborative relationships - internal and external  
  • Ability to problem solve and think on your feet  
  • A full UK driving license is required for this role 

Experience 

  • Strong experience working in a field sales or business development role in the FMCG sector 
  • Experience working in the vape channel a plus 

Education 

  • BA/BS degree preferred but not required
