We are seeking a Marketing Automation Developer to oversee all technical functions of Salesforce Marketing Cloud programs, automations, and third party integrations within the platform. They will be collaborating with the global marketing automation team to provide a technical POV for all projects as well as lead the development efforts.

Responsible for the overall configuration, design, and functionality of the Marketing Cloud platform
Demonstrate a strong command of technical details to translate proposed solutions into functional specifications with technical team
Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risk and escalations, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
Work closely with marketing, and technical teams to define and implement new functionality and product capabilities within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Proactively identify production risks and create actionable mitigation plans
Implement and provide architecture guidance for building scalable, maintainable solutions
Maintain and document technical processes and marketing automation procedures and provide seamless hand-off to business users to utilize
Establish excellent working relationships with all internal partners to ensure blockers and dependencies can be quickly identified and resolved
Oversee product deployment activities and provide end-user documentation
3+ years of Salesforce Marketing Cloud developer experience
Experience in integrating SFMC with 3rd party tools and vendors
Solid understanding of building and configuring data, automations, journeys in SFMC
Solid understanding in writing and troubleshooting ampscript
Solid understanding of relational databases, with expertise in writing SQL statements for data extraction
Experience with SOAP APIs, REST APIs and integration techniques
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Proven ability to identify areas for process improvements and recommend/implement solutions
Proven ability to translate business needs into functional requirements
Detail oriented and self-starter with strong written and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
Ability to work effectively with non-technical personnel
Ability to work effectively in a team situation with developers
