Get to know our Team:
The Employer Brand & Marketing Team is part of a larger dynamic People Operations team. This team is responsible for the strategy, planning and operations of Grab’s employer brand and marketing efforts. Our mandate is to build and maintain Grab’s reputation as a tech employer of choice and build a strong talent community who are advocates of the Grab brand. We are a dynamic team with people from diverse backgrounds, including advertising, marketing, communications and architecture.

Get to know the Role:
The Employer Brand Manager is a key member in Grab Indonesia to fulfill the vision of building a strong employer brand at Grab through communicating a compelling brand story. An excellent candidate would be someone who can see the big picture of how a good employer brand looks like, and work with different parts of the team and business to realize this vision.

The day-to-day activities:

  • Serve as a key member of the EBM team to chart the strategy and direction for the team

  • Own the brand message across Grab’s employer brand channels in Indonesia, including our careers site and blog, LinkedIn, and offline channels.

  • Design and execute a creative strategy for Grab’s LinkedIn account to build up and sustain Grab’s employer brand to engage jobseekers  

  • Set up and measure metrics to track the success of internal and external employer brand campaigns

  • Assess the ROI of hosting, attending or sponsoring events, and awards that will raise Grab’s profile as an employer, working with stakeholders from the business and various teams within the larger People Operations team

  • Work with recruitment marketing specialist to build up the content strategy for Grab’s careers site and blog to ensure a steady stream of content, through written, pictorial or video formats

  • Work with community manager to engage and grow a talent community through our candidate management system through events and campaigns

  • Work with Grab’s regional brand team on bringing alive external brand campaigns within Grab to our employees

  • Support the larger Talent Acquisition and People Operations team on projects that help the company scale and engage stakeholders

  • This is a one-person team for a start, with key resources being the Regional Employer Brand & Marketing (EBM) team, vendors, agencies, part-timers, and interns.

The must haves:

  • Minimum 5 – 7 years in either Brand, Marketing, Communications or related fields

  • At least 2 years of experience managing a team, or strong proven record of being a strong individual contributor 

  • Must have a good knowledge of marketing campaign tactics

  • Track record of designing and executing successful brand or marketing campaigns

  • Strong written and communication skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management

  • Competency in developing and executing a strong content and brand strategy across multiple online/offline platforms

  • Experience working in a start-up environment is preferred

  • Proven record of the ability to drive results in a team under tight timelines

  • Good knowledge of the talent landscape in Indonesia 

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in spoken and written English and Bahasa Indonesia
