Coinbase.com and the Coinbase mobile apps on iOS and Android serve over 30 million customers around the world. 

Foundations are the components of the Coinbase experience that touch every user. This includes everything from account settings to account reporting and security features like 2-factor authentication. The Foundations PM will own the strategy and roadmap for these foundational user journeys that enable Coinbase users to have great experiences.

You’ll work closely with engineering, design, data science, and cross-functional teams to understand the needs of and build solutions for more than 30 million customers around the world.

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

  • Develop the strategy and roadmap for foundational journeys in the Coinbase apps and website
  • Collaborate closely with teams like Risk, Compliance, Support, and Security to bring best in class features to consumers
  • Maintain a strong eye on a product experience that shows no organizational seams
  • Build and ship features that touch all of Coinbase’s customers and enable them to have great experiences

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

  • 5+ years of developing, building, and launching technology products
  • A strong interest and experience with security features like 2-factor authentication, account recovery, login, taxes, and compliance experiences
  • Empathy for the foundational journeys that millions of users go through on a daily basis
  • Demonstrated passion for cryptocurrency, financial markets, and the Coinbase mission
  • Solid product design, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to create product roadmaps from initial idea to launch.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience building account management, security, or privacy products
  • Experience with financial services regulation
