As a User Experience Researcher at KeepTruckin, you will work with Product Managers, Data Scientists and Engineers in order to derive deep insights about our users’ behaviors and attitudes. As well as communicate results and actionable recommendations across the company.
You will join a happy and energetic team and will play a central role in the design, development, and delivery of our software product offerings (Mobile and Web).
You’ll think big about new opportunity areas, test concepts as they are being developed, and evaluate products once they’ve rolled out. You are an excellent communicator and a flexible team player that is passionate about delivering leading-edge user experiences.
ResponsibilitiesPartner with product and company leadership to help build a deeper understanding of our user base and their challenges.Assist in the design and execution of research studies from concept generation through to product release. Including planning studies, moderating study sessions, writing reports, creating video highlights and sharing learning.Acquire user insights by utilizing methods such as in-depth interviews, diary studies, surveys, contextual inquiries, usability testing and any other methods you find to be impactful.Work with designers to lead company-wide initiatives, such as improving the design system, document and replicate best practice, as well as contributing to our design blog.Be the UX research evangelist on the team and actively mentor other designers understanding of the value of a research-led approach to product building. Recruit and interview designers, and actively improve our inclusive design hiring process.
Qualifications:Undergraduate degree in Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Ergonomics or a related field.Preferably 2+ years of experience in an individual contributor role, on a product design team for desktop and/or mobile.Experience doesn’t matter! The main requirement is a positive attitude and passion for research.An outstanding portfolio, showcasing your work.Experience designing interfaces in Sketch.An understanding and appreciation for design patterns and systems.Experience working and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a rapid growth environment.Proactive attitude, effective independently and as part of a team.A sense of urgency and ownership over the things you work on.Excellent self management and communication skills.A desire to learn and teach.Please include link to your work for consideration.
