About the job:
The Special Projects Team is a newly formed team within a growing organization and will lead KeepTruckin’s most strategic projects. An extension of the leadership team, this team will strategize, consult, and implement; delivering big outcomes across the organization.  
As the Special Projects Lead, you will lead the charge on the most important initiatives at KeepTruckin (Ex. launching new products, entering new markets, geographic expansion). You must quickly come up to speed on how the business is operated across all functions. You will assemble and lead large cross-functional  teams, build credibility, and alignment among key stakeholders, driving strategic vision and a clear framework for programs & projects. You will serve as a lead / mentor to other less experienced Special Projects Managers on the team.  You will track core business metrics and develop an analytical framework for making data driven decisions when prioritizing, tracking, and iterating on key initiatives. You are a detail-oriented, get-things-done professional who can adapt quickly, and balance moving quickly with high-quality delivery. You will report to the Director of Special Projects.

Responsibilities

StrategicInfluence future vision of KeepTruckin GTM strategy.Strike a balance between heads-down execution and heads-up strategic thinking.Understand strategic problem solving, identify opportunity areas, make recommendations on priorities and opportunities for improvement.Manage Special Projects backlog and work with leadership to set priorities.
AnalyticalPreferred expertise in a B2B SaaS business model (metrics, and benchmarks).Use data to prioritize, investigate, and measure outcomes. Analyze and report on KPIs and SLAs. Strong experience with Salesforce reporting.Analyze project execution and identify risks before they impact timeline. Conduct post-mortems, root-cause analysis, and action plans safeguard against future challenges. Use excel and sql to self-serve data analysis, build models, and report to executives on KPIs

Project ManagementOwn cross-functional execution of new product launches and entry into new marketsCreate and help execute new product/market rollout plans and Go-To-Market playbooksExpertise with B2B SaaS operational processes & systems preferred, along with project management frameworks and tools.Conduct stakeholder interviews to collect project needs and resource requirements and compile it into a digestible and actionable format. Diagram complicated systems & processesManage operations of each project, including developing a project plan with: clear scope, success criteria, deliverables, schedule, risks, interdependencies, and resource requirements.Mentor and coach other project managers, while delivering on your own projects

Qualifications

12+ years total professional experience Track record of delivering $100M+ outcomes4+ years experience project/program management role or similar management consulting roleOperations, Product, Program, or Project Management experience in a technology company (B2B SaaS company preferred)4+ years supervisory experienceProven experience working in a matrix environment, managing multiple stakeholders.  Expertise with JIRA, Confluence, Salesforce, Excel, SQLBA/BS degree (MBA Required)
Nice to haves:Experience at a company whose product includes both hardware and SaaS Hands-on software development experiencePrior experience in the transportation industry
