Get to know our Team:

The GrabFinancial Consumer Business Team focuses on consumer payment use cases, fund-in/ fund-out, and overall wallet/passthrough experience that directly impact the various consumer usage. The team covers areas such as Product launches, Marketing budgets, Market Strategies, Cost of fund and Use cases’ performance metrics and P&L to grow the overall business

Get to know the Role:

In charge of overall Funds Flow methods and Cost of Fund for GrabPay Wallet and passthrough. The goal is to offer convenient Funds In Funds Out (FIFO) methods and good experience to users while improving cost of fund for Grab.

The day-to-day activities:

  • Serve as Regional Business Owner of consumer payment by driving new launches and continuously improve the performance of use cases across various markets

  • Oversee overall GrabPay (Wallet & Passthrough) usage, performance metrics, and user experience

  •  In charge of overall fund-in and fund-out (FIFO) methods and cost of fund

  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities

  • Lead commercial arrangement and discussion with partners, aggregators, or vendors

  • Launch new use cases and expand across markets e.g. Airtime, Billpay, Gaming, Deals, Remittance, etc.

  • Product prioritization based on impact

  • Set targets and manage use cases’ performance metrics by providing input on marketing, product improvement and solving critical issues

  • Expand and improve Funds-in & Funds-out channels

  • Drive the launch, expansion, and performance of Driver Wallet

  • Coordinate with other functions (e.g. Product, Engineering, Compliance, Risk, CE, Finance, etc.) and country teams 

  • Work with external partners, aggregators, or vendors who deliver products or services

  • Ensure good user experience on GrabPay

  • Analyze use cases’ P&L to provide business direction

  • Reduce Cost of Fund by continuously expanding channels and negotiating fee with providers

The must haves:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or relevant field
  • Understanding of payment business and process, interchange, scheme, card operation is a plus
  •  3+ years of experience in Payment, Management Consulting, Banking, or eCommerce
  •  5+ years of work experience

  •  MBA or Master Degree is preferred
