The Product Marketing team at Asana develops clear and compelling messaging that inspires our customers to learn about, try, and adopt our product. Product Marketing at Asana works with many teams across the organization to provide enablement training and collateral to customer-facing teams, support events around the world, shape the product roadmap, drive product launches and create the narratives and demos to communicate the Asana story that inspires customers. 

We are looking for an experienced product marketer to help accelerate Asana’s go-to-market strategy by developing and refining Asana’s messaging and narrative development. In your role you will be responsible for partnering with executives, sales, customer success (CS) and product to develop Asana’s messaging for key personas, sales motions and worldwide events. You will develop a deep understanding of our customers’ needs, the competitive landscape, overall industry trends, and apply this knowledge to our positioning, event content and sales/CS materials. Your impact: excite and inspire companies all over the world to rethink how they approach work and to use Asana to manage their organization’s initiatives, plan and automate processes.

What you’ll achieve

  • Create and maintain high-fidelity narratives presentations that target key personas ranging from C-levels to specific industry and functional leads.
  • Help develop the go to market strategy
  • Support Asana world-wide events both with presentations, messaging and coaching keynote speakers on product framing.
  • Support product and solution launches with enablement for Asana’s customer-facing teams.
  • Work with focus groups to test Asana narratives to refine and hone messages
  • Work with our research teams to understand user experience and needs, market trends and develop deep category expertise to inform our positioning.
  • Work closely with the sales and customer success teams to drive sales readiness in pitching the Asana narrative.
  • Work with our PR/AR teams to demonstrate Asana’s best-in-class products and vision

About you

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Marketing
  • SaaS corporate messaging and sales enablement experience preferred
  • Very proficient at creating and presenting stories in presentations (Keynote a plus)
  • Experience in developing content for event keynotes a plus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Love working in a collaborative and creative environment
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
