You WillEnsure management and maintenance of food safety and quality to meet company best practices, standards, and continuous improvement. Work internal cross-functional department to understand customer needs and product specifications. Communicate company food safety policies with current and potential customers. Review potential customer term sheet, contracts and requirements to ensure these can be met. Attend customer meetings or visit customers as needed.Attend customer audits and provide guidance on corrective actions. Provide formal written response to all customer concerns that are food safety and quality related. Maintain customer concern metrics and present data to larger groups on a regular basis.
You HaveBS degree in Food Sciences, Statistics, Math or Business or related technical field.5 - 8 years of experience a food-manufacturing environment with a quality assurance emphasis.Demonstrated ability to lead or support multiple projects / requirements and achieve results in a fast paced work environment.Demonstrated ability to solve problems ranging from basic to complex by using data.Hard working self-motivated individual with excellent quantitative skills.Strong oral and written communicationDemonstrated organizational and record keeping ability.Attention to detail, fast learner, and ability to work well with many different people.Ability travel to customer sites as needed. Travel to manufacturing sites as neede.
