Job Description

WeWork is seeking a Sales Manager to help lead its sales efforts in the Malaysia market.

This full-time position sits within a successful Sales team that reports to the Sales Director and will be based in our Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia HQ. The successful candidate will be diligent with a proven track record in sales.

As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for prospecting, outreaching, and generating leads in your market. In addition, you will be responsible for pitching, touring, and closing sales in all WeWork locations across your market.

Additionally, the self-driven and self-motivated candidate will be responsible for collaborating with our centralized Enterprise and Strategic Growth teams to increase memberships in their market.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, mentor and grow a team of Account Executives

  • Lead generation and prospecting (i.e., cold calling, social media, attending networking events, marketing activation, etc.)

  • Effective market pipeline management and reporting

  • Drive process management

  • Cultivating and maintaining SMB and Strategic Growth relationships

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful placement and member growth

  • Developing innovative and creative sales methods

  • Demonstrate WeWork benefits and solutions to potential new members

  • Personal Sales contribution to be present by Sales Managers

  • Manage multi-sites as required

  • Ensuring the team constantly exceeds KPIs
     

Experience/Qualifications

  • Fluency in verbal and written English, [native language] required

  • 4-6 years of sales experience, 2+ years of sales management experience

  • Ability to penetrate new markets

  • Presentation and communication skills required

  • Detail orientation and organization skills required

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Ability to establish and nurture C-level relationships

  • Business development experience

  • Experience with Salesforce a plus

  • Commercial real estate sales experience a plus

  • B2B business solutions experience a plus
