Get to know the Role:
As the Risk Analyst in the Operations team, you will find offline risk issues, analyze Grab’s data to develop insights about user behaviors and payment risks. Will translate these insights into recommended actions to combat user and payment fraud.
The day-to-day activities:
Analyze massive passenger, driver and merchant data insights on user behaviors and/or payment risks.
Conduct data analysis team with offline insights to help develop new fraud actions
Work with different stakeholders to take operations initiatives to reduce user and payment fraud across Indonesia
Work cross-functionally on managing risk associated with Grab products, processes, and payment methods
Escalate issues to the management team as needed
3-6 years of experience as a hands-on risk operations/analyst issues in a high tech company
Jedi level knowledge on RDBMS such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
Good understanding of the Indonesia fraud space with hands-on knowledge of fraud, payments, and risk.
Good communication and presentation skill
Good stakeholders management skills
Ability to make sound judgment calls independently when presented with difficult decisions, especially when only partial information is available
Ability to take initiative in a fast-moving environment
Nice to have:
Business intelligence experience using tools such as Tableau and Excel.
Familiar data analysis tools such as R, Python, SPSS, SAS etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong training skills.
Understanding of Big data architecture and tools (Hadoop, Distributed SQL etc.)
