Our Implementation Associates are part of the Investor Services team at Carta. Carta is looking for a lead product manager to join the new Limited Liability Companies (LLC) R&D team building out product functionality for our LLC clients. Carta has traditionally worked primarily with venture-backed corporations - we are now looking to expand to adjacent entity structures. As a lead product manager, you'll help define requirements and build new solutions for a new LLC product that bridges the gap between our core products and new use cases: Private Equity, LLC, and Real Estate investment firms. You will also work on building the initial data model and features for the foundational product. As the Head of Capital Markets, you will design, setup and manage a sustainable financial model for Carta’s overall business as well as individual business lines. In particular, the Head of Capital Markets will spend considerable time with our emerging Financial Products business, to define and build the capital structure, identify and secure funding sources, and develop securitization relationships as we grow. Responsibilities As a lead for our strategic treasury function, the Head of Capital Markets will work with Carta’s CFO, Controllership and Operations team to achieve the following goals for each business line and for Carta overall: Optimize working capital cycle, including optimizing cost of borrowing and ensuring right level of liquidity across business value chainUnlock liquidity from idle cash (cashpool, in-house bank, internal dealing), and reduce the cost of financing across Carta value chainIdentify constructs to enhance business margins and improve risk managementManage cost of capital for medium as well as long-term through banking and other financial relationshipsDefine, develop and maintain the capital structure and balance sheet strategy for each business -- and for Carta as a whole Work with the Financial Products team to scope and roll out new product lines, including the design of a capital structure for the organization, the identification of capital funding sources, and potential securitization of products over time.
