Confluent’s Technical Field Enablement leader is responsible for leading the development and execution of all Technical enablement programs across the Field (GTM) organization. Key objectives include the definition, rollout, and management of both onboarding and continued enablement programs across technical members of the Field (GTM) organization as described below: New Hire Onboarding Continued development and execution of next-generation new-hire onboarding, and bootcamp, process for all Customer Facing Technical roles including Systems Engineers and Customer Success. The new hire process will define a structured, consistent and highly repeatable process to drive the rapid onboarding of new hires globally within Confluent. Successful delivery of the new hire process enables foundational understanding of the Confluent product platform, and sales process, directly resulting in a decreased amp time, increasing overall productivity, and improving competitive win rates or renewals. Continued Enablement Execution of Sales and Sales Engineering learning programs. Learning programs will address providing both foundational, and continuing, knowledge of Confluent platform, as well as ongoing-curated education in technologies, and technical initiatives, aligned to the Confluent platforms. Operational Excellence  Creation and execution of programs to increase field operational excellence.  Successful delivery includes creation, and field rollout, of organizational wide assets and platforms, to increase the execution and assessment of the technical sales process; for example, technical deep dives, use case definition, POV scoping, and POV wrap-up deliverables, POV echo backs. Creation, field delivery, and enablement of technical collateral to support Confluent’s field sales team. This will range from managing technical demo workflows and demo systems, as well as technical presentations covering Confluent’s alignment to customer roles (personas) and industry trends. Successful delivery will result in increased demo proficiency across the Systems Engineering organization, with an end-state goal of a higher conversion rate from first meetings into qualified sales opportunities.
