We are held accountable to ensure customers are successful, and their experience with Carbon is positive.  As an integral part of this team, Field Service Engineers are responsible for meeting the daily service, Installation, maintenance and repair needs of Carbon’s printers and ancillary equipment, ensuring equipment uptime is maximized.   Field Service Engineers will be expected to follow support processes and procedures, document thoroughly, escalate appropriately, and respond quickly to support customers across a broad spectrum of industries. You will be joining a diverse team with a dynamic culture, where team success is as important as celebrating individual contributions. We are searching for a talented Process Engineer to work with our Materials team.  This position is responsible for providing technical expertise to develop and implement reactive (polyurethane and acrylate chemistries) as well as non-reactive processes (dispersions/ formulations) with chemical contract manufacturers to meet quality, cost, and efficiency requirements.  The Process Engineer identifies ways to improve safety, quality, yields, and the capability of existing processes while also assisting in the scale up and implementation of developmental products and processes.  The position is based in Redwood City, California, and reports directly to the Head of Materials Operations.     Responsibilities: Improve existing processes and products; design and develop new reactive processes aimed at scale-up to manufacturing Scale-up of new formulations, reverse engineer existing formulations and reformulateCollaborate with contract manufactures to assist in identifying and implementing continuous process improvements and processes, process changes and control plans significantly reducing defects/costs that will deliver products of the highest quality at the lowest costScope, plan and execute capital projects Develop, communicate, and manage scale-up/process engineering OKRs Provide internally and externally technical guidance to materials and production teams, facilitating process troubleshooting and developing corrective action plans.
