Babylon has arrived. Our mission is simple: to put an accessible and affordable health service in the hands of every person on earth. We’re at the forefront of making two worlds converge – technology and healthcare. Imagine being able to access healthcare, at no cost, within minutes, from an app on your phone. Well, now you don’t have to imagine. Babylon , a digital healthcare and AI company based in the UK, has partnered with TELUS to bring Canadians “Babylon by TELUS Health” – a service that is covered by MSP and allows British Columbians to access a family doctor using their smartphone. Residents can access primary care from a BC-licensed family physician 7 days a week by downloading the free app on iOS or Android . What does it mean to be Babylonian? We hire only the best. Physicians, nurses, creatives, strategists, and only the most passionate individuals keep the Babylon mission growing around the world. We won’t stop until everyone – everywhere – has access to healthcare. Right now, at least half the world’s population doesn't. We’re going to change that.  The Project Manager, Senior Associate opportunity at Babylon Health: Reporting to the Projects Lead, this position is responsible for ongoing projects that will expand our business scope. You will engage with our partner (TELUS Health) and the Babylon delivery team in the UK to manage the delivery of projects of varying sizes. [Coaching and Mentorship] As a Senior Associate you may be involved in providing coaching and mentorship to an Associate as we grow the Projects team from 3 to 5 Babylonians. [Product Development] In addition to the above, our newest team member will be involved in bringing new features of our app to Canada. We won't need you to be technical (i.e code) but being product-inclined would be beneficial for this role. What we’re looking for*: We’re looking for a project manager who has a passion for healthcare and technology. Ideally 3 or more years’ experience in a project management role with a focus on delivery or other relevant experience Familiarity or comfort with project management software (we use Monday.com) Knowledge of the software engineering lifecycle, and exposure to the delivery of software solution projects, especially in Agile environments is preferred, but not essential Experience in healthcare preferred, but not essential *Please note: if you do not meet all of the experience requirements above, but still feel that you would be a good fit the role, we’d love to hear from you! Babylon is a global healthcare provider on a mission to change that.  As the leader of digital-first healthcare in Canada, Babylon by TELUS Health proudly provides primary medical care to patients in British Columbia. Babylon by TELUS Health brings comprehensive medical care to patients that may have barriers to accessing traditional medical care.
