The goal of a research engineer at Scale is to bring techniques in the fields of computer vision, deep learning and deep reinforcement learning, or natural language processing into a production environment to improve scale.ai’s products and customer experience. As a member of Scale’s software QA team you will be responsible for creating detailed, comprehensive and well structured test plans. You will work closely with members of the engineering, product, and design team to manually and automatically test features. You know testing methodologies backwards and forwards and know which to apply when. Your excellent written and verbal skills mean that you can easily communicate issues and bug reports with clear reproducible steps.  As a Software QA engineer, you will: Work with Software Development Engineers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented in-order to plan, develop, write, and execute test casesDefine, track, and take ownership of quality metricsInterpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process Highlight issues to project leads and push back on releases when quality standards are not metAnticipate and communicate impacts to user workflows and anticipate pain points to suggest enhancements This role could be a fit if you have: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)1+ years of Software QA testing experienceExperience with node.js and react or comparable technologiesExperience with GitExperience with common bug tracking systems (Ex.
